Mission
Scandinavian Nutraceuticals (SN) develop and produce feeding supplements for animals based on the multitude of healthy plants and herbs that animals find in nature. Our products mix traditionally recognized nutrients (e.g. vitamins and minerals) with the new kind of ingredients, which are called nutraceuticals.

Ideas for real life
SN’s main concern is to choose ideas and technologies that can survive in real life. Initial testing of new products for horses are conducted on company director Mr. Sortehaug’s own herd of Icelandic horses. This is a very practial way to ensure that the products improve the welfare of horses before further product development and commercial introduction.

High, certified standards
SN products are certified by the National Nutritional Food Association’s (NNFA) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Program. These standards are usually applied for human’s food production and assure that the purest ingredients in the proper concentration are used.

In all products SN utilizes only those ingredients whose benefit for animal health was proved by scientific research in world-recognized laboratories.
